My niece Abby and her daddy Peter!  She is just so cute!  Can't wait to meet her in person....somehow I feel my kids will get to see her before me as they are with Grandma and Grandpa McDonald and are going to be in Pittsburgh and I won't be....NOT FAIR!  I will spoil her someday!

I am officially an AUNT!! that is so weird!  I have always had little kids around me (like since I was 10) and now I will have one call me Aunt BJ for the rest of my life....no one has ever called me Aunt BJ (miss BJ, Miss Stoner, Mrs. McDonald...but never Aunt). My brother-in-law (Peter) and sister-in-law (Rachel) are proud parents of Abigail (SP?) Grace McDonald.She was born today at 3:30pm weighing 8 pounds. 

In other news...I am enjoying my child free week!  I can't say I have done anything that required me to be child free but it is nice to clean and vacuum and still be able to tell after 10 hours!!! I miss my girls but they are having fun boating and swimming at the lake with Grandma and Grandpa McDonald!

okay I know I said I would try to do better a keeping this up to date...too busy! SORRY!  Anyway...the girls did 4 weeks of swimming lessons in total and had a blast and learned alot and are a lot more confident around water. (YEAH)  Katherine has lost 2 teeth this summer! one today, I had to convince her to let me pull it, speaking of which the "tooth fairy" needs to go visit her bed! The other one she lost at Sesame Place during dinner!

I have been married for 9 years today and according to Air Force records Jon has been TDY (away from me) for a total of 531 days of those nine years.  By next year our tenth anniversary he will have been away for 2 years and 25 days (assuming they don't send him any where after coming home from Korea before August next year or keep him in Korea longer than expected).

The girls got their hair cut yesterday.  They both donated their ponytails to Locks of Love too! They look so cute, but it is a big shock to see them with such short hair. (what they wanted...I tried to talk them into longer)

  I have incredible in-laws!  Let me explain!   They have offered to take my kids for 2 weeks (without me)!  I don't know what I am going to do with all my free time but considering it has been over 2 years since I have been without my kids for longer than 8 hours  I am looking forward to the break.  I wish I was spending the time with Jon but I will take the break.  I have a wedding to go to in Maine during the 2nd week they will be gone. I am so glad my in-laws are able and willing to take them and pick them up at my mom's. YEAH!!
